The versatile and minimal Menu Yeh wall table is the perfect place to rest books, magazines, vases, table lamps or even your afternoon coffee. The Yeh Wall Table by Kenyon Yeh was designed after Kenyon Yeh observed a cheerleading practise at a neighbouring school in his Taiwanese hometown.
Kenyon Yeh: “I was walking to my studio and passed a school where two students were practising balance and strength for their cheerleading routines. The guy was with his back resting against the wall, in a sitting position without a chair, while the girl was standing on his thighs with her arms stretched out”.
This scene inspired him to create a minimalistic table with clean lines standing on only two legs. The tabletop is bent upwards in a 90-degree angle against the wall for added stability. Rubber tips prevent sliding and tubular steel legs support what's placed on top of the side table.
This versatile and light design takes up minimal room can be used as a side-table for books, plants, a table lamp or small objects and is ideal for homes with limited spaces.
