The Marimekko Havtorn dress is made of cotton in the Iso Mehu pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The dress has a concealed zipper in the back seam and a wide separate belt. The sleeves are puffy and they have gathers at the shoulders and elastic gathers at the sleeve ends. The dress has side seam pockets.
The starting point for the painterly Mehu (juice) print was an idea of fruits mixed together in a large bowl into a delicious smoothie. The spontaneously executed abstract pattern also features recollections of a summer drive through Europe, of verdant landscapes and art experiences had along the way.
