The Peacock and the Crow collection is based on a folk story of how the birds got their colours.
Originally the Peacock and the Crow both had white feathers, but moved by a field of flowers,
the Crow painstakingly painted the Peacock in a beautiful palette. When it was the Peacock's turn,
he didn't want to waste any time in showing off his new plumes, so promptly, and rather spitefully
he poured a pot of black ink over the Crow.
Taking inspiration from this tale, Alex has essentially created two collections in one. All you have to
do now is decide whether your look is going to be bold and flamboyant, or dark and mysterious...
These plumes demonstrate Alex Monroe's incredible eye for detail and look like they could be real
feathers dipped in metal. Dainty but mysterious, this Ruthenium plated sterling silver necklace is
exquisite. A stem favourite.
